Sorry I haven't posted regularly these days. I get so caught up in what's happening with my business, and I'm so busy, that my blog has become something I do when I have a little time.
1. I created a few new monsters :) I bought some *hopefully* guy friendly furs in olive green and hazelnut.
They're both very happy monsters, and have the same type of horns. Gordon's horns are like Wooky's, and Sinon's are like Berry's horns. Both popular monsters. I think these guys will do well. Since these furs were bought from Everafterfabrics on Etsy, I must say that at the price per yard that I paid for these colours, they are for sure going to be a limited edition only. I have 5 yards of each, so enough to last until next year. :)
2. I have a few new stores that will be carrying my monsters!
a) Carbon Environmental Boutique in Edmonton, Alberta will very soon have my monsters on their shelves!
b) Intergalactic Travel Authority (ITA) in Toronto, Ontario should have monsters by the end of October.
c) I don't have a company photo, but Finn MaCools in Gibsons, British Columbia is located somewhere in this building photo:
That's it for major news. As for minor news, I bought some new furs recently, and my custom furry monster listing has been updated. Here's a photo of all the furs I currently have. :)
Since fall is here, and Christmas is right around the corner, I can't promise any blog posts from now until then. Since I am the sole person in my business, I feel like I will be working 50-60 hour weeks, and blog posts are the last thing I think about. :) If only I had more interesting things to talk about! But then, I don't create 1 new, original monster every other day like most people who make plush as a hobby. This is my living, so of course I always do repeats. It's how most successful businesses operate. You can see for yourself at some of the businesses that always carry the same products.
Keep reading though, because I will be making a new monster out of Kelly Green fur, and I will talk about him briefly.
Have a great week. :)
